The anniversary exhibition of the national artist of Ukraine is held in the exhibition hall of the National Academy of Art of Ukraine Anatoly Gorbenkodedicated to the 75th anniversary of his birth. The works of the author are distinguished by a recognizable elegant color created by shades of natural stones born on the earth's palette. Ash-gray, ocher-warm, radiant-pearl - color in landscape composition, reflects the unique feature of different places, regions, countries.
The master is not limited to plein-air painting, but refers to the creation of verified composite canvases with the author's system of expressive images and motifs. The main theme of the artist - the image of his native land - is expressed in the motifs of the Black Sea coast, sea spaces, in the images of a peaceful, fertile Ukraine. Created in the workshop composite canvases retain the elegance of plein air painting.
For many years A.A. Gorbenko devoted work to the Union of Artists. He headed the board of the Odessa Art Fund, was a member of the board of the Art Fund of Ukraine. Since 2007 he is the chairman of the Odessa regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. As a professor of the department of fine arts, the master passes on the experience and traditions of the Odessa School of Painting to students of the Institute of Architecture and Art of the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
