Jean-Auguste Dominique Ingres and the times of Napoleon

In the Royal Palace of Milan passes unique exhibitionwhich presents viewers to Jean-Auguste Dominique Ingres and the artistic life of the 1800s.

The exhibition includes more than 150 works, of which more than six dozen are paintings and drawings by the French master, taken on credit from the world's largest collections, such as the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Paris Louvre, the Orsay Museum, The Small Palace, as well as the Engra Museum in Montauban, which sent the most significant works. Also, Italian museums such as the Pinacoteca Brera, the Gallery of Modern Art in Milan and private collections provided their treasures.
