Shanghai Pearl Art Museum hosts a large retrospective exhibition of one of the most illustrious representatives of Art Nouveau. Alphonse Mucha. For the first time the collection of the Flies family is exhibited in China. It is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Czech Republic.

The exhibition includes more than 200 works - original posters, drawings, paintings, decorative works, jewelry, sculptures, books, photographs and personal items of the artist. The exhibition is divided into six aspects of Mucha’s identity: bohemian, artist for people, international artist, mystic, patriot and philosopher.

“The multifaceted practice of the Fly is at the forefront of the end of the 19th century and is also the root of modern classics. He brought to life the beauty of art and thought about it, and this is what we want to present, ”said Dandan Lee, executive director of the museum.
