Roni Horn: When I breathe, I draw. Part 2

Exhibition June 7 − September 1, 2019
Exhibition "When i breathe i draw»Is a review of the drawings of the artist Roni Horn, whose works revolve around the variability of identity and the fragility of space, time and language. The exhibition includes a selection of large-scale and compositionally complex works on paper, a series of rich cadmium red patterns and an extensive group of cut out photographs, text and maps. This two-part exposition was the first museum exhibition dedicated to Horn drawings in the United States.

The second part of the exhibition brings together a series of drawings that illustrate the innovative Horn cutting technique as a drawing method. Combining interest in the unreliability of the language with the dismantling of the image by cutting, her work is a complex collection of fragments of drawings and text.
