Roni Horn: When I breathe, I draw. Part 1

Exhibition February 15 − May 5, 2019
Exhibition "When i breathe i draw»Is a review of the drawings of the artist Roni Horn, whose works revolve around the variability of identity and the fragility of space, time and language. The exhibition includes a selection of large-scale and compositionally complex works on paper, a series of rich cadmium red patterns and an extensive group of cut out photographs, text and maps. This two-part exposition was the first museum exhibition dedicated to Horn drawings in the United States.

The first part of the show presents drawings of Horn, more than ten feet high. Noting the time and consciousness, the artist’s personal notes maintain the nearness of a whisper, pushing and drawing the viewer into the work.
