In the exhibition hall of Chernomorsk is the anniversary solo exhibition of the national artist of Ukraine Anatoly Gorbenko. In his works, the author conveys all the subtleties of the color of local nature and his state of mind.
“Nature is an eternal and permanent model who poses for you and you admire him. The artist approaches himself and brings the viewer closer to the beauty that surrounds us, ”says Anatoly Gorbenko.
Anatoly Gorbenko was born in 1944 in Kirovograd. He graduated from the Odessa State Art School and the graphic arts department of the Odessa Pedagogical Institute. Since 1964 he has been living in Chernomorsk (formerly Illichivsk). Winner of the Tatiana Yablonskaya Prize. Personal expositions were held in Genoa, New York, Sofia, Varna. His works are stored in collections of museums of Ukraine, as well as in private collections in different countries.
