Kukje Gallery presents a solo exhibitionMin Chung-Ki. The exhibition consists of 14 new paintings and 14 earlier works, covers a forty-year career as an artist who explored how perspective shapes the landscape.

The author is best known for his reinterpretation of the everyday landscape, he emphasizes his realism and socio-political history. The artist focused mainly on geographic features and human footprints left in nature - including mountains and water. New works represent labyrinths of engineering spaces and put greater emphasis on research and social history.

Min Chung-Ki (born 1949) studied Western painting, graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the College of Fine Arts at Seoul National University, and received a bachelor of arts degree. As a member of the “Reality and Utterances” group, Ming responds to changing social conditions in Korea, their manifestation in urban landscapes and popular culture. Took part in various exhibitions at home and abroad.
