Qu Qiangmei. Golden age

Amy Li Gallery in Beijing presents Qu Qiangmei's solo exhibitionGolden age". The exhibition includes more than twenty works by the artist, including her recent works made with the use of varnish, mineral pigments and other materials. As part of the abstract expressionist style of the author's work reflect her perception of life.
Qu Qiangmei is 63 years old, she was born in East China. She studied drawing in childhood and dreamed of becoming an artist. She practiced Chinese traditional painting, studying with her mentor Qiu Yuren. In 1985 she moved to France. She participated in a group exhibition organized by UNESCO in French Nantes, in an exhibition in the Museum of Spanish Castellón and in other foreign galleries. Has held many solo exhibitions. Lives and works in Beijing and Paris.
