Exhibition December 15, 2018 − April 6, 2019
The Kiev Art Center M17 hosts an exhibition “Avant-garde: in search of the fourth dimension”. The project was organized jointly with the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Art Arsenal, the Adamovskiy Foundation and the ArtCult Foundation.

The exhibition includes about 50 paintings, graphic and sculptural works of avant-gardists from museum collections and a number of private collections. Presented are the Suprematist works of Olga Rozanova and Alexander Rodchenko, showing the development of the avant-garde. The first hall is devoted to the emergence of new artistic ideas and a new artistic language in the 1910s, and the second one is the realization of these ideas in the fields of theater, design, architecture in the 1920s.

Ukraine is represented as a kind of "crossroads" of innovation in the art of the first half of the twentieth century in the creative circles of Kiev, Lvov, Kharkov, Odessa, which later formed the principles of the Ukrainian avant-garde.
