Sergey Shaulis and Alexander Miroshnichenko. Starting point

The space of the FACE Foundation presents an exhibition of Kharkov sculptors Sergey Shaulis and Alexander Miroshnichenko “Starting point". The emotional state of a person, all his shades and semitones, which are between white and black, is the main topic of research of artists. The authors create original images and try to convey a special turning point, which is called the "Point of Reference." New images of the “without rod” sculptures by Sergey Šaulis and the complex symbolism of the ceramic works of Alexander Miroshnichenko say that while a person thinks, while he feels, the “point” will always be a symbol of transition from one state to another.

Sergey Shaulis was born in 1985 in Kharkov. He studied at the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts, at the Faculty of "Fine Arts" in the specialty "Monumental Sculpture", graduated from graduate school. His works are in private collections in Ukraine, Finland, Holland, England, Germany, Israel, Belgium, USA, Australia.

Alexander Miroshnichenko was born in 1983 in Kharkov. He studied at the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts, ceramics laboratory. Since 2007 - a regular participant in national and international exhibitions and competitions. Winner of the Grand Prix at the Ukrainian exhibition of artists of ceramics in 2013.
