Collective exhibition of Transcarpathian artists

In the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod passes exhibition of Transcarpathian artistsdedicated to the three events. First, the Czechoslovak Republic was created a hundred years ago; secondly, the Society of Slovak Artists from Transcarpathia was founded almost five years ago, and now its participants celebrate a kind of small anniversary and, thirdly, this is the thirtieth exhibition in a row. The exhibition presents works by Michael Peyter (head of society), Taras Tabak, Yuri Tkachuk, Andrei Pavuk, Mikhail Belen, Vasily Sochka, Vladislav Hanzel and Edward Prikhodko.

Honored Artist of Ukraine, sculptor, graphic artist Mikhail Belen presented three series of graphic works: “Outstanding figures in the field of science and culture of the Carpathian area”, “The life path of the classic European pedagogical science A. Dukhnovich” and “The life path of the poet and artist Taras Shevchenko”. In addition, the exposition includes the philosophical sculptures of Vasily Sochi “Spiral into Eternity” and “Leaf of Life”; landscapes by Michael Peytera “Evening in the Mountains” and “The Last Rays of the Sun”; light and simple, but at the same time, the works of Vladislav Hanzel's “Sunshine in the Winter Forest” and “Rest in the Kizey Tract”, full of deep sensuality.
