Theatre. artist, painter, graphic artist. He graduated from the Stroganov art.-prom. Uch-school (1907) and the Moscow school of painting (1916). Worked as an artist at the Bolshoi theatre. In 1924-40. artist of the Maly theater. The author of paintings and graphic portraits of actors, as well as watered. and campaign posters, etc. works.

1897-1907 studies at the Stroganov Central school of industrial art.

1907-1916 studying at the Moscow school of painting, sculpturing and architecture from Konstantin Korovin, the Bolshoi theater performed in conjunction with other decorations on the sketches of K. Korovin.

The 1900 Works in painting and drawing, portraits of artists, actors; also the still-lifes.

1920s began work as a poster artist, political and propaganda posters to public holidays; performs sketches of scenery and costumes for productions: 2nd Studio of the Moscow art theatre, the Bolshoi theatre, the Opera theatre named after K. Stanislavsky.

1924-1940 Artist of the Maly theater.
