After graduating from the Academy of fine arts received the title of artist of painting.
1893-1974. In 1920 he entered the Petrograd State Free art Educational Workshops (b.Academy of fine Arts) in the workshop of K. S. Petrov-Vodkin. In 1922 he completed the diploma of "fairy Tale". An employee of the Proletkult in 1918, Participant of exhibitions "har-color", society of artists, individualists, community of artists. Participated in the decoration of Petrograd for the anniversary of the October revolution (1918).
