Anatolyevich Sholokhov

The master of portraits and large genre works. Born in Borisoglebsk. Originally studied under the guidance of his uncle, a famous artist of the 1930-ies of Peter Ivanovich Sholokhov. Graduated from the Leningrad Academy of Arts under the guidance of Korin and D. Oreshnikov, then Moscow Art Institute. Surikov, where he studied with S. Chuikov, V. Yakovlev, A. Gritsay.

Member Of The Union Of Artists. PhD. He taught at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. Participated in many national and solo exhibitions since 1950-th, Lives and works in Moscow.

Work B. A. Sholokhov is stored in the State Museum of the Revolution, in the collection of Moscow Art Institute. Surikov, the Museum of children's camp "Artek" in the Crimea, the State art Museum of Penza, and also Borisoglebsk and Livadia.
