Painter, graphic artist. Studied at the Kazan art school (1896-1902), s (1902-1911) at F. A. Rubo, K. A. Savitsky, Repin. Participant of art exhibitions since 1908 (St. Petersburg, Moscow, Simbirsk, Venice, new York). Member of the USSR Union (MOSKH). Lived and worked in Simbirsk in 1918-1923 Taught in "ISOMATTE". Created a series of beautiful watercolor landscapes of the Volga, a series of watercolors dedicated to Lenin places of Simbirsk (1920–19308е). Wrote themed paintings. In 1921-1922, made a series of drawings of starving Simbirsk (from nature) that are stored in the Ulyanovsk regional Museum of local lore.

He studied at the Academy of Arts under F. A. Rubo c 1902 to 1911, and in 1908 received the 1st prize at the competition for the sketch "falconry", in 1911 – the title of the artist for the painting "Royal construction" of the XVII century. Was a member of the "Association independent" (1910-1917).
Before the revolution, has performed works on themes of Russian history and landscapes, depicting monuments of ancient architecture. After the revolution, created a series of works dedicated to Lenin places in Simbirsk. Participated in the creation of dioramas for the Museum of Revolution in Moscow, for the world exhibition in new York 1939 Exhibition of works by P. Dobrynina took place in Simbirsk (Ulyanovsk) in 1920 and 1958.
