Painter, theatre. artist. In 1922-30 he studied at the Mosk. VKhUTEMAS - P. Konchalovsky, I. Rabinovich, V. sakhnovskaya. Lived and worked in Moscow. Until 1917 he studied at the Voronezh school, then continued her studies in the unified labor school.

In 1919-1920 he studied at the Voronezh Free art studios S. R. and N. Maximov. Participated in the design of revolutionary festivals.

From 1922 to 1930 he studied at the VKhUTEMAS (all-Union artistic-technical studios in 1927, renamed in all-Union art and technical Institute) P. Konchalovsky, I. Rabinovich, V. sakhnovskaya.

In his student years and subsequent five years Shchukin worked on the design of demonstrations, mass theatrical procession dedicated to the celebration of revolutionary dates and events. Easel painting and graphic works made by the artist with protoceratium characteristic of children and folk artists. The style of the works created almost simultaneously, at times dissimilar. Ill with tuberculosis, Shchukin died in 1935.
