Yuri Afanasevich Sevryuzhenko was born on December 4, 1947 in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk art school.
Since 1993 - a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Participant of city, Crimean and All-Ukrainian art exhibitions.
From 1977 to 2004 worked in the art and production workshops of the Foundation of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine of Sevastopol.
The master of the Crimean landscape, still life. The author of numerous wall paintings, stained-glass windows and mosaics in the city of Sevastopol.
The works of Sevryuzhenko Yu.A. presented in the Sevastopol Art Museum, galleries and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, France, USA, Austria, Germany and other countries.
The artist died on January 20, 2004.
In June 2004, a posthumous exhibition of works by Yuri Afanasevich Sevryuzhenko was opened at the Ukrainian Cultural and Information Center in Sevastopol, at which 62 works by the artist were presented.
