Vita / Barbara Eder
Freelance artist
In 1971 I am in Madras / India
was born. My father was a diplomat and worked as a scientist for the United Nations. In the following years I traveled with my family to many countries - in India and Africa we lived for several years.

I have my first impulses of my artistic work
collected abroad.
Here I have my interest for
the diversity of cultures
and developed for the resulting different personalities.
Through the research work
we have my father
Insights into still untouched
Areas, as well as in self-sufficient
preserved to living tribes.
After we in Germany
settled, I acquired
my Fachhochschulreife for
Design and art. It quickly became apparent that artistic creation would be my constant companion. I could deepen my knowledge in the adjoining school Haus der Kunst. Here I also learned to create a so-called "inner script". But art also means being courageous. Paint already painted again, to experiment or to repeat.

As always in life, the path is sometimes straight, sometimes with abbreviations or detours. This is exactly what makes the individuality of an artist.
Two trainings followed, as a make-up artist and media designer. Afterwards, I worked for several years in creative departments. The question I asked myself early was, where should my own journey go?
It cleared up quickly, because as early as 1997 I became self-employed as a freelance artist and designer.
