Jean Joseph Vervloet was known for his historical compositions, genre scenes and portraits. His work is still being put up for national and international auctions. They can be seen in the museums of Mechelen. Image size 32 cm x 19 cm, with a matte surface of 47 cm x 34 cm, spots of chanterelles, otherwise excellent condition for more than a century of the wizard.
