Description of the artwork «Jabot»

Byalynitsky was an artist,
Birulya was also named after him.
Did you drink? It is difficult to learn -
The man was one.

Once they called me and offered to depict a married couple. Honestly, two in one has always alarmed me and did not promise anything good. In double portraits, the characters always interfere with each other - then one blocks the other, then one is expressive, and the second - just the eyes would not look! But you can't cut the picture. And what about the battle scenes ?!
Let the audience understand themselves. Quite possibly, lovers of multi-figured compositions exist and there are even a lot of them.
People go to the stadiums and know almost all the players by their surnames, and who has which foot more shock. / What is the stadium? /
I remember walking in the history of people about epochal canvases thin. Nalbandian, in whom at night, running through museums and exhibition halls, painted over another high figure who did not please the next high figure. So after all he, I suspect, was not alone. Here, I say: do not, comrades, citizens, gentlemen artists, paint more than one!
And sho do? I did not have an "order book" from which to choose, and I had to agree with pleasure.
And that's what came out of this joy.
I did not like the picture. Order collapsed. The couple broke up. My friend and colleague fell in love with the female part of the portrait. And he wanted me to portray her. I depicted her. The portrait did not like. They offered to come up with something original. Proposed. I liked the offer. My friend and colleague fell out of love with the female part. The sketch was abandoned in a folder and forgotten for many years.
Who has been to the artists' workshops, they know that nothing can be found there. Looking for one, you find another. You can find, for example, one hundred rubles of 1961 edition. You will find, you will sit down carefully on a chair and you will remember what it cost in those distant non-monetary times. And so I want to go there for the evening and make a noise with my friends for all 100 ... I would like to get all drunk in the morning.
How badly did the wind blow this bill? So much so that she lay for more than half a century unchangeable and no longer needed by anyone ...
Or such: one my friend desperately scolded me for heaps of junk in the workshop. So he was right! After all, turning freely is not possible! One sudden movement and everything collapses and falls on the head. So, this one friend of mine comes and asks for a nut with ears, a "lamb" is called. I say: go to another room and poke around in a jar with nuts, it should be. And I continue to paint. Half an hour later I noticed the absence of the one who had come. He could not leave without saying goodbye! Postponed coloring and went to another room. And there ... A painting worthy of a brush and a chisel! There is a friend surrounded by a mass of jars and stuffs a bag with various small crap.
- David, this is (shows) I have been searching for two years! But this (shows again), one might say, all my life! And you have it all!
- And once you talked about trash ...
- Fully take my words back!
And took. And he left the happy owner of any petty nonsense, so sometimes a good person needed in everyday life.
And here I was looking for something. For a long time, more and more irritated, I decided to look at the last folder at the very top of the rack and stop this tedious and very dusty occupation. In the folder there was a mass already to no one and no matter what the unnecessary paper stuff.
And (usual) all of a sudden! ... A small square of cardboard with a sketch "Lady in a Fagot" And I immediately wanted to immediately bring down the subframe, stretch the canvas and proceed to the image of the proposal that I liked once, but was never implemented.
And I did it all and quite quickly finished the portrait.
Since the small sketch was not supposed to resemble a portrait, and I don’t know where the former nature is now, so far as it is shown, it has nothing to do with the former original. All who saw the portrait, ask: "And who is it?"
Why is it so important for the viewer to know the name? Like I am showing a portrait in the personnel department.
But she, nevertheless, has a full name - DVZ. That is - "Lady in the jabot." Size, oil on canvas, brush, year.
