He was born in 1966 in Mykolayiv in the south of Ukraine. He has lived and worked in Moscow since 1983. The first Russian designer, the winner of the international contest of innovative industrial design
«Red Dot Design Award” for product design in 2004. He has worked in the legendary art workshops of Furmanny Lane since 1989. In 2012 Victor Freydenberg opens LAB-CLUB in Sadovaya-Karetnaya Street in Moscow. This is the 5th workshop-gallery, an art-laboratory and club. It is here that he develops and implements a part of his projects, conducts master classes, performances, organizes meetings-discourses, film viewings. In 2015 he has been a producer of a new brand, «SAMARINIK».
