Sevastopol painter, museum worker, officer.
He was born in Feodosia on 08/10/1902 in the family of an artist, a teacher of drawing at the Feodosia girls' gymnasium. In 1917 he graduated from a real school. In 1922 he graduated from an art studio in Grozny. In 1924 he moved to Tbilisi, where he entered the preventive museum as a modeler. In 1926 he was called up for active service in the Black Sea Fleet. In 1928 he served on the cruiser Chervona Ukraine, visited Turkey, Greece, Italy. Member of World War II, took part in the defense of Sevastopol and the Caucasus. He was awarded the Order of Lenin, the Red Banner, medals for the defense of Sevastopol, the Caucasus and others. He was discharged with the rank of colonel of the quartermaster service (1956). Since the 1950s - participant of exhibitions. In the years 1958-1970. - Director of the Sevastopol Art Museum. M.P. Kroshitsky. Under his leadership, the museum significantly expanded its funds, conducted active research, lecture and excursion work. The number of books in the scientific library of the museum increased and replenished with rare editions. Prof. artist, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Died September 26, 1975 in Sevastopol pos. Dergachi.
